Sootblower – Research, using sonic soot blowing infrasound

During the past 10 years we have conducted extensive research into sonic soot blowing using infrasound. The goal has been to develop the optimum combination of frequency and sound wave in order to prevent, as effectively as possible, soot deposits on heat exchanger surfaces designed for e.g. industrial boilers.
What began as a few simple experiments to achieve more effective soot blowing ended up as a 10-year development programme. Following a decade of research within the field, extensive experiments and testing with validation of our technology in practical operation, we are now ready for a largescale introduction to the market.
